Chapter 3 — "Week Three: The Crowned Winner of The One"

Summary: Ashlee describes the lavender-cyan glow of a reality-television soundstage, the rose-handoff ritual, the producers' line-feeds through her earpiece, the helicopter date, the staged proposal on a Mediterranean clifftop, the magazine cover, the contract, the gilded sponsorship house she is paid to live in.
